The DFC (Ink's Duelling Ladder)

the DFC is a great place to duel people you wouldn't normally get to meet without the drama.   

I highly recommend joining if you wish to sharpen up your dueling skills, that goes for the old timers too.

Me personally, I don't want to be in an event that lasts six month at a time. A short break between is a nice thing to help to keep things new and fresh.

My game time is fairly limited and the amount fights I saw many people having when it was here in general forum would cut my MA time in half. I can push a few things off occasionally for and event that pops up every 4 months that takes maybe a couple weeks to before I am knocked out but it would become as challenging as the fights for me if I participated in an event that lasts six months.

The whole set up is not really for me as is probably most people that don't sign up.

You do what you can, when you can. Some duel a little, some alot. Some duel, lose and feel the need to immediately lose again. 

6 months is just for the standings to change. This isn't like a full blown scenario. It's people having fun with some paperwork for bragging rights.

Try it out, there's also nothing saying you can't join and quit. And don't worry, Ink doesn't mix sugar with your plane's fuel anymore for quiting... Now he has a big red INACTIVE stamp he uses on your forhead.

I'm in the DFC.  I get to fight as much or as little as I want.  I'm probably getting in 4 or 5 duels a month.  I'm flying planes that I normally would not agaist pilots I might not.

17 years, 3 games (AW, WB, AH), and I had the best fight of my life just a week ago.  15 minutes of no-holds-barred fighting in P47's on the deck, in a canyon, with......................... .the OP, Yarbles.  If I had not joined the DFC, that would never have happened.

Try it, if you don't like it, quit, no big deal.

I completely forgot about it. I challenged a few above me, but they were challenging those above them. After a while of no fights I simply forgot about it. I take it, it's still going? If so I'm likely at the bottom. I officially challenge everyone in the 5 spots above me!

I see what your saying and actually expected something close to the above. However I would not sign up fir an event that I don't plan on staying through to the end. I also would not feel right turning down challenges on any kind of regilar basis due to my amount if time available online.

The event is really not for me. One of the nice things is that after the first few weeks the match ups should be close enough that you don't go down in flames after the first turn every fight.

Good luck to all but this guy won't be presenting his six to you for the easy kills.

Autime with the misses too.

I haven't been able to pull off playing on shift yet. Maybe someday
