Take care of your family TnDep, and hopefully you will be able to come back for a sortie or two now and then after a while.  ;)
I know how it is, I have been there myself. I was at a point of getting really hooked on this game, and I spent hours upon hours on a daily basis flying cartoon planes just to get really good like you. Finally my wife put her foot down and made me wake up.

Now I play more randomly, one or two hours now and then as it fits in with the kids and wife. And it works really well too.  :aok
I don't get much better as a cartoon fighter pilot, but I get the thrill of being in a fight every now and then. And a few nights a week I might even get several hours to hang out with my squaddies in MA without getting in any trouble with my wife at all, because we have made an agreement that works perfect for us.    All I have to do is make sure I don't fall back to my old habits of being all consumed into this game when I am needed around the house for other chores.

I will miss you TnDep, even though its been a while since we have had a fight. I still hope we have more good fights to come, so just take good care of your family now first of all and we will meet again in the cartoon skies at a later time Sir!  :old: :aok :salute

I feel your pain, TnDep. You're doing the right thing, though!

The very morning I got married, I gave the people I hung around with in all the multiplayer games I had subscriptions to all the account names and passwords and I haven't been on since. Now, I stay on Aces High and a couple single player games like Skyrim/Fallout as they are games I can sit down and get up whenever I have a moment. The only real sacrifice my family makes for me is when a scenario comes out that I'd like to take part in it.

These warm comments mean alot, I will never return to this game unfortunately.  My wife moved out Tuesday and I've not flown hardly any in the last few months and she's still not happy.  I love her very much and my daughters 6 and my son is 11 weeks.  I've treid to talk her into going to counceling and she says it's too late that she'd rather see me on night shift then to be at home.  I don't deserve this I'm being torn away from my kids, but theres nothing I can do about it.  I told her that it's never to late to work on our marriage and she shows no emotions.  I"m heart broken I'm a good man and I thought I picked the right women to spend my life with, but she doesn't love me no more.  I'm sure life will go on but it's so hard.

I hope you guys that our in my position takes this into your heart, you need a date night atleast once a month without the kids and to go dancing and laughter together, an emotional relationship.  I wish I could do alot of things over where every night when I come on and check my kids and make sure their heart is beating and to kiss them when I'm on night shift or come home when I'm on day shift and everyday help my little girl do her homework and start her bath water and to rock her while we watch the disney channel but I'll only see them about 50% of the time now.

Theirs my guts, but I truly appeciate the comments

I know now why people commit suicide, although I know it will get better I can see why they do it although I'm not thinking about it just saying I see through this stress how it could drive someone to

take care guys

I'm sure we are really sad to hear this, I'm really sorry for you.

It's not too late, maybe limited options. Can you get a family member to help intervene? Ask her to do one last thing for you. There is an incredible book that helped my wife and I out a few years ago. A book titled "The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Last" by Gary Chapman. He's a great minister right here in Tennessee.

Bottom line, we "hear" love in different ways. I started doing e dishes a few years back and no matter what happens my wife knows I love. This means more to her then a diamond necklaces. We all communicate in different ways.

Great life changing read, shorter book, easy read. Beg her to read it with you, or even alone. It may help open up a channel for communication. If you need a copy or two PM me your address. I will gladly buy and mail you two copies, one for you and her. Let me know!

Is this behavior within her character? Postpartum depression can cause women to make strange decisions.

I was thinking about this thread on the way to work, makes me appreciate the grumpy wife and dirty kids diapers a little more.
