The buggers had to make the tiffie....that was the straw that broke the camels back

Anyhow, I've had a chance to fly about 20 sorties all together (not much I know) but there's is a few things I already noticed that I really like.

The main thing is that combat seems more difficult because you have to pay more attention to your a/c than in WB. I found that there seemed to be more emphasis on pilot skill than plane type and I find that very exciting. I've also noticed a  great improvement in the artwork, moreso on the newer planes being modelled like the P38 and tiffie.

Anyhow, I'm wondering if you guys organize any events similar to Sl's of WB, I really enjoy those and would like to try it out.

Combat is more dificult for my opinion too. In WB I had gunnery of 15% - 20%, in AH it is now 6%. Hitting enemy is harder but when you hit you do damage. How many times it has been stated in WB that gunnery is too easy? It seems almost fixed issue here.

And I think there is no uberplanes like in WB, there is no plane that can substitute skill. I have many times survived in Fw 190A-8 attacks of Spits and P-51's with superior E state in situation where I would have been killed easily in WB.

Jeez its starting to look like old home week "over there"

Organized events: Right now there is a player run group, and several individuals, trying to put on SL type events. And right now we are trying to put together our first real scenario. We're starting slow, but its getting better. Pyro has also said that at a later date he will put together an official HTC sponsored scenario group as well.

Uhouho, now my best trainer and best Geschwader CO is here. I'll have to pay attention up there ...

Uh, OK, I'm here

How do you kill the nose bounce anyway? Flew a few sorties last night and was impressed overall...nice to have a change and the vehicals were pretty cool if they can work them in to some strategy.

I was also having some problems with my video hitching in high res.

Gonna put more emphasis on AH for awhile to see what the curve looks like:

Nose bounce can be dampened in JS set-up, however, one thing about AH, it  will let you know that your pots are bad faster than any game I have.  If your pots are the least bit warn, this game will reflect it!  Always calibrate from the outside in, ie. calibrate in your JS setup outside of AH, then inside of AH last.
