psyched big time(SKYRIM)
« on: March 06, 2012, 11:07:35 PM »
man I made huge progress today

I was able to import a Skyrim Mesh into Blender.....this means that anything I make in Blender I will be able to put into Skyrim :x :x :x :x

I am gonna work on getting this in first, should be a bit easier with no animations

once I understand how to export animations these will be the next......

almost done with this, workin on the animations for it now...and yes I fixed it so the eyes stay attached to the mesh :lol

still a lot of work left on the Croish......this texture is just for rendering and will not be what the final look is.

so those who are into Skyrim once I am done, I am gonna make a Mod,  if your interested in checking it out send me a PM.(It is still a ways off yet, this stuff is not easy learning from trial and error :cry)

eeeek why did you have to make an icky yucky spider!??! :)   as if the ones already in the game aren't creepy enough

i've only just started with Skyrim about a week or so ago, planning to try out some graphical and game-changing mods when I get round to doing a second character/playthrough...

please keep updating this thread with what you create and i'm sure a bunch of us will download  :salute
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

Ink you have a heck of a lot more time and patience than I do if you're into modding. I dabbled with it and like you said, trial and error sucks. I hope I can make a few requests in the future. <<S>>

the new Creation Kit is awesome,it is gonna make modding much easier.

one mod I know I wanna do is to have the ability to see both swords show while duel wielding, besides the Dragon pet I am working on now.

throw your ideas at me.

None yet, I'm still not even 10% through the main story yet. Once I finally get a handle on everything I'll throw em at ya with a rail gun.

I'll be ready to start experimenting soon.  Almost finished with all the storylines, I'm down to 1 town left to visit, I've systematically destroyed the map.  I'm now onto the little quests for Thieves Guild, Bards College, University and Dark Brotherhood that don't advance the storyline at all.  But I've done it all with no add-ons, or entered commands.  I wish I could say I did it with no deaths or jail time... but I didn't.

I have to say, even though there's a lot of the same badguys over and over again, there's enough eye candy in every area to make the game thoroughly enjoyable.  Blackreach is amazing.

throw your ideas at me.

I find the lack of variety in the armors and weapond to be disappointing in the vanilla version...  I would like my kick bellybutton magic armot to look different the generic crap that I can craft myself...

I would love to get my hands on your mod when you get it up and running, Ink...   :salute

I haven't even played in a while, hell today was the first time I flew also, just been trying to understand Blender, getting close now

ya I hear that, the game is awesome, but it does lack in lots of ways, typical Bethesda.
I will let ya know when its done, I wanna create a whole new world based on REH's but that is a massive undertaking and I just cant do it alone, plus the scripting part. :bhead...I don't want to even begin....

Blender has a game engine that seems pretty good, I may just work in that and start from scratch, instead of trying to modify Skyrim to replicate the Hyborian age.
although I have not even looked at the game engine yet, just watched some vids of what people have done, it's pretty crazy.
