« on: March 06, 2012, 11:14:45 PM »
Ar 234's still available in the upcoming "Winter Sky -- Death Ground" scenario (late-war tactical German slug fest).

For details on the scenario (with link to registration):  http://ahevents.org/scenario-current-or-next.html

Yes, but B-26's are not Ar 234's.  An Ar 234 is the epitome of advanced technology.  It is sleek and fast German technology.  When flying an Ar 234, you can scoff condescendingly at B-26's.  ;)

(Image removed from quote.)

That picture reminds me of combat footage from planes attacking trains.  They always seem to attack perpendicular to the target.
Seems like a no-brainer to come in following the length of the bridge for a way bigger chance of hitting it.
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Until you factor in wind, then hitting broadside should be easier.

I remember Spikes showing me how an Ar 234 can be flown.  Have pitty for the allies who encounter Spikes in an Ar 234! :)

LOL, fun stuff back then. I haven't flown one in months.

No Deecon, work has me tied up pretty good so I doubt I'd have the time for all of the effort needed to be put in to lead a group again.

As a walkon most likely. I'd love to lead them but I'm sure there isn't as much freedom in them as there was in TFB. Plus I won't get to draft my dream team of bomber pilots. :)
