I'm Canadian. Aside from history and geography and maybe a few others, our high school content is largely the same. I'm not going to blame the education system, because the history books were and always will be written by the victors.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm PRETTY sure that's what Tupac summed up quite well right towards the top.
I mentioned something along those lines as well, as did saggs, coombz, uptown and a large number of others.

Figured it out. It's irony.

I'm dumb, sucks for me. Here's something though for you guys.

Oh please, help the "dago needs a 2013 Shelby GT500" fund.  Don't let the unspeakable tragedy of him not having one occur.  Where is your humanity?

Please pledge now, I will let you know how and where to donate.

We're not all like that.

It's interesting, though.  If we deem certain people to be intrinsically 'stupid' or 'lazy,' then is it their fault for being this way?  It can't be- if they were born this way, so to speak, then clearly they cannot be blamed for their inabilites.  However, if we are to expect people to adapt, innovate, and overcome, so to speak, then we cannot label an entire generation as intrinsically bad.  It's contradictory.  In addition, why should we believe that you are right?  It IS true that our schools teach us what we know, and thus we cannot blame students for the school failing to provide an adequate education.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Lazy?  Yes, that is a choice.

Stupid, often enough.  Many have worked hard to get an education, or to learn what they need to survive.  If someone is stupid based on being lazy, that then is a choice.

this....

but there are some people with those learning deficiencies that truly do struggle to learn the basics of living independently. And no, I am not saying those that are truely mentally challenged, I am saying those that are just as able to work hard and make a buck like you and me, but physically struggle do paper work.
