This last patch will not update ?

Flench, if you DL the game again then instead of just running it save it to desktop first. this will help you in the future if you need to reinstall it cause you wont have to DL it all over again youll just need to DL the updates.

oh Skuzzy, i kinda knew that his system is a new fresh build and that he didnt have an anti-virus cause he never mentioned installing one on our squad forum. that is why i assumed his issue was the same as mine and others had a week or so ago with DLing the new version, and the quickest cure was to uninstall and then re-install the game. dont remember which thread that was....

once you DL the file it gives you the option to save or install, save it to desk top. once it is saved then double click on the icon on your desk top and it will install the game but you will still have the install file saved to desk top after the install for future use.

Yes Nutzoid , I just built this new PC and the only thing on it was AH I just deleted it last night . Now I have another 4 hour download just to see if it's going to work again . I'm not even running a anti-virus and have the firewall turned off .

Did you try running a Ping Plot to the downloads server (downloads.hitechcreations.com)?  It very well could have been an Internet related issue.

Not yet . I just don't understand why I was up and running fine until that last patch . A patch was what did me in 2 year's ago and it's very frustrating when I have to spend 4 hour's to update the game again just about the time I was up and running .

I can understand your frustration, but we have no control over what happens over the Internet, assuming this was Internet related.  Software firewalls can also create these type of problems, right out of the blue.  A router needing to be reset can also cause it.

There are so many things we simply have no control over.

Why was it working fine just a day before the patch ? If you don't mine cancel my account and credit my card back . I got to play 2 day's , you can prorate that and take that out and refund the rest . It took me too many hour's to get back in game and this happen's . Take's me 4 hour's to just get the game back up to the start and then  have to reset all my settings again and that's more than I can handle right now .

You can save your settings folder so you don't have to redo all your settings after a reinstall.
