Bombers and Tracers
« on: March 08, 2012, 09:23:13 PM »
If bombers in WW2 had tracers, should the ones in game have them also?

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

So to confirm a person can not 'disable' tracers while in a bomber?

They can, just need to do it before the flight.

As far as I know right now there is a bug that does not allow bombers to have tracers, but I think HTC will fix it in the near future.

Did they ever even fly w/o tracers? Doubtful. It is the primary method of sensing rounds when firing and also had the side effect of shying off enemy pilots. I have never read of them having them off, and is as silly as not having them on  main gun rounds from a tank.

Whew, it's a good thing we have them for our main guns on tanks then ;)

If we had tracers in tanks then I'd rage quit the game, its already easy enough to tank let alone give some 2 weeker even more of an advantage.

I seriously doubt that bomber defensive guns were ever flown without tracers when you consider how good they are at lighting leaking fuel and causing planes to burn............especially in the Pacific.
