I do like the show but also think it would be better if they showed more actual restoration and less BS.

This is true..... but it is a reality show and not really about restoration.

I personally think that if maybe they could add 30 more minute's to the show where one should go into more detail on what they are doing . Besides showing dude sand blasting something for 30 secants then jump too something else .
You know kind of like This Old House where they show what there doing and show the right way to do it while their doing the job ..

This may seem odd, but I pay attention to detail… On one of the few episodes I watched they ‘restored’ an antique tricycle. They finished and delivered it without a head badge. (A head badge is the name of the manufacturer. Usually displayed right below the handlebars.) I have redone a few antique bicycles, and leaving the head badge off is like restoring an old muscle car and not putting an engine in it.

I seen tat one two GOALY and someone must to have complaned because they had a show not long behind that on and they made it a point to point that badge out on it , lol .

I like the show just to see the restorations, but it is so scripted as to make me barf.  One show, they were putting a can of change on top of a cabinet.  Funny how the soda bottles on top kept appearing and disappearing, and the "other guy" could find the can of change on the shelf like he had radar.

Plus, is anyone as big of a brainless loser as the kid?
