1.) Reno/Stead- Most recently for the air races I've attended, in the past flying in there to visit family and being able to run up to the fire bombers, old migs, and t6's that were hanging around the ramp. I also dig the old military buildings around the outskirts, gives it almost a ghost town feeling any time other than the races.
2.) Gainsville, FL- I had heard good things about this place, but if you fly in GA during the college school year, you'll be pleasently surprised. I was parked by a 5'10" blonde who was wearing shorts so small that the marshalling vest appeared to be a dress. Then picked up at the airplane by a very cute brunette who offered my choice of coke, sprite, or water then chauffered me to the door of the FBO(only 25 yards probably, but who am I to turn down a pretty girl). Another 3 behind the counter..... and I think you get it by now

.
3.) Vero Beach, FL- Neat airport, have a soft spot for the place I first solo'd, cool corporate jet action, pretty mellow place.
-- I've gone through Denver about a thousand times and it is ok. LAX I've been through several times but always around 4/5 am so it was dead and easy. Honolulu is really neat, you realize you're in paradise right away. Orlando is pretty simple if you don't have to change concourses.
