Another Top Gear thread

I think the guys @ [facepalm]Top Gear (USA)[/facepalm] finally did a segment better than the Brits.  Only because Clarkson picked the obvious Clarkson trim package and ended up reviewing what any self respecting European would think is an extremely stupid car.
Happily, the F Series Ford pickup is still the best selling car in America, followed closely by the Chevrolet Silverado

F-150 Lightning:  Jeremy Clarkson

I'd really like to see the Raptor put up against a Bowler.
Are there still more Ford pickups in the world by Australians?

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

That is not the factory truck. Hennessey is in Houston. I've been there a few times. They do all kinds of vehicles. Last time I was there they had 2 raptors they were building. One was 750 RWHP. ne of the camaros in our club was a HP 800. It is now an ARD 1500. Back when it was an 800 there was video of it running just over 1000 hp and 1000 ft lbs of torque.

They also had a Caddy running 750 or 800 rwhp.

Hennessey one of the sponsors of the H-Town Camaro Club.

It is a factory vehicle as much as any other SVT product. What you saw were the Hennessy Velociraptor's, an after market mod package for the raptors.

Are there still more Ford pickups in the world by Australians?

Aussies and Kiwi's call them utes.

Aussies and Kiwi's believe owners of F-150's and the like have noodle issues.

The most common and most loved ute in this corner of the world is the Hilux,

The likes of the F-150 are just to heavy and clumsy to be of practical use.
