Looking at the scores for each frame there was a distinct pattern.
Every frame the Allied bombing improved and the Luftwaffe's bomber killing improved.

Actually this FSO ran as a pretty good representation of the era. Where the Luftwaffe could successfully intercept the bombers they were devastating. When the bombers made it to the target they were equally devastating. There is a clear cut strategic victory on the part of the Allies for the damage they inflected on the German infrastructure. However the heavy bomber losses and the steady increase in their losses each frame show a clear cut Axis victory in the air itself. The Allies squeak out a points win because of bombing by 471 points. However the air victory still belongs to the Luftwaffe. Not only did they improve each frame in their bomber intercepts. They managed to win Frame-3 in spite of Allied Bombing totals. We're going to have to chalk this one up as a draw.
