I've only ever heard one hit from faith no more and i've heard it about a million times.  I actually listened to the rest of that cd and it was very difficult to listen to.

Dude stop.

Faith No More's "Angel Dust" is one of the modern classics. Mike Patton (lead singer) is a genius.

Every song on this album is better than 99.9% of all music released this century.

Yep, I'm a fan and if this guy is pulling our leg he'll be outed quickly and brutally.

Correct about the music and the band....this was required, pre-mission tunage in 1990-91...and on our Bosnian Yacht Club t-shirts.  Grizz has missed the finer points of musical creativity as he is young and was born of a different genre....GANGSTA RAP (I have no idea about Grizz's musical tastes but his generation perpetuated this particular talentless poetry).  I hated it then and I hate it now.

I just listened to that song all the way through and it sucked.  Got any others that will make me a believer?  I actually saw the genius that is Mike Patton in an opening act for Tool a while back.  Tomahawk was the name of the band I believe.  It was the worst thing I ever heard in my entire life that called itself music.

Or anything off of that album for that matter.

Tomahawk is not easy for the average sheep to comprehend. However, if one is willing to explore it they should start here...

Of course, pair him up with The Melvins and what you get is pure greatness. Fantomas/Melvins "Big Band"

Of course, if crappy, three chord music and simplistic lyrics are more to your liking there is always this...

How widely famous must one be to be famous enough for this thread? Nationwide or worldwide? One of the players on this video has an account... The band is still active although some members have changed.

1st: Okay, that was a good song. <EDIT> And Angel Dust was not the cd i was referring to.  It was whatever cd has the song "epic" on it.  It was awful.
2nd: That brings me back to that fateful day where Tomahawk made my ears bleed in a bad way.  Still the most awful thing I have ever heard in my life.
3rd: Still Tomahawk, still awful.
4th: Whatever.
5th: Nickleback sucks.

I guess it's just not for most. I can accept that.

4th: Whatever.

Really? They have a live DVD out there. Check it out.

5th: Nickleback sucks.

Yep.

The "Album of the Year" CD had "One Last Cup of Sorrow" IIRC.  Did very well.

And finally, I went to college with one of The Flaming Lips and ran sound one night for Enuff z Enuff because their sound guy was too drunk to walk from the bar to the sound booth...that was 1 meter.  He slept, sitting at the bar, the entire concert.

I wouldn't call it awful. This song is great.
