around up to 10 hours in WB and in AH a couple of times, but my longest happend in 1984 playing ELITE, the best space combat game ever, on a BBC Micro

I've gone a couple of days/nights that were 20+ hours. Squaddies leave from squad night, log back on the next evening or the next morning and there I am. Practicing on getting shot down. :P

In the early 90's I was a phone tech support for Media Vison sound card company. They payed my phone fee to play Air Warrior so I could support sound issues. MV had a partnership with Thrust Master, so I got free equipment and parts to play the game for them also. I regularly got home Friday nights after work and logged on until sunday night around midnight. Didn't hurt that my room mate also worked for MV and no one in the game knew we had our monitors side by side. Pulled alot of rope a dopes over those years.

You've all heard of "Snail Mail"? We had 2ft "Shouting Snail Vox". We had our sound hooked up to 4 sterio floor speakers and 2 amps. One hot summer night the neighbors called the police thinking we were having a shoot out in the house becasue we had the windows open and the amps cranked up while shouting to each other over them. That was a good case of beer.

i once played for 18 hours straight then fell asleep for 12 on my chair with ah on.  so about 30 sounds right.

iirc RedTop did a 2 day sortie in his 51, just parked up in an indestructable hangar overnight and it was still there when he checked in the next day!

Haha, for those that were lucky enough to be a part of that know it was a legendary night. Btw it was you that said the town was down when the church was still up. Lucky bustr had the backup goon.  :airplane:

6hrs, ate & drank at the console, peed when AFK, any longer and I'd have to put in a catheter & leg bag. Plus my butt was sore....need a better chair.  :airplane:  :old:

back years ago when I first got addicted I would play every day, until 3-4 in the morning, I think the longest I played straight was in the high 20 hr mark......with a few hour nap and back to it for another 20 hrs  :rofl

that's actually when most just wanted to fight :(
