This thread seems to have deviated from pictures of players to pictures of guns and ammo.  I personally don't want to see pictures of guns, thanks.  Let's see more pictures of players!  :D

Here's an old photo of my oldest daughter and I (she's 16 now) on the log ride at Six Flags (the one in Eureka Missouri west of St Louis).

Yup, exactly.  It and the long single shot shotgun above it both need to be restored.  They were in my grandfather's basement when he passed away.

I've got one, myself.

It was my grandfather's first rifle that he owned.  I don't know the exact year but it's pretty damn old.  He got it when he was 10 and he is now 91.

In good working condition, I'd be willing to wager that it is in the top three, most accurate, .22 caliber slide-action rifles that you could ever shoot.

When I was younger and my grandfather could see better, I have seen him shoot a soda can, in the air, and keep hitting it while airborne until he emptied the magazine.

The stock on mine and the barrel show signs of age and use but it is still the most accurate rifle that I own (I do not have scopes on any of my rifles).  I have no plans on "restoring" it because I still use it a few times a month and have never even entertained the idea of getting it appraised or selling it.  The only other problem is that the safety is questionable but, then again, I never fully trust the safety on any weapon.  Better to not point the weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot.  :aok

Biggest problem is the magazine follower is missing and I haven't found anybody that I can buy one from yet.  Some surface rust on the outside, bore is good though.
