An understandable and quite popular misconception.

The origin of our second amendment rights have nothing to do with personal safety from crime OR criminals. and everything to do with making it harder for a government to be tyrannical.  If most of the citizens are armed, it makes it that much harder for a government to be tyrannical.

Sure I know the reasons that the right to bear arms is based on, having heard them quoted eleventy-billion times (it'll sure be interesting if you guys ever do have to use your caches of ARs and shiny pistols to depose a tyrannical government *popcorn* )

But we also all know what the true result is for your society don't we?

a guy who decided to carry a wooden sword in a time when most carried steel....he whipped everyone that tried to kill him.
but did it with out killing them.
 not to say he never killed anyone, for when he carried a real Katana he killed many.

just because you can do something does not mean you should.

and he didnt stop at many either and dont forget he perfected a two sword style of fighting that has never been duplicated by any

Yes, we know the NZlanders have a zero % murder and crime rate because of their sociological advances.  That island nation is far superior to all other free nations.....in fact, I'm not sure how we here in the US haven't been smart enough to allow NZ to govern us all these years.  Goodness...God save the Queen.

yeah its called knives instead of guns if theyre outlawed coombz no matter what if a person wants to kill or threaten theyll find a way. oh and also it is nice to know if we ever need a gun we can have one to protect ourselves...

Yes, we do. The result is that where ever people are allowed to defend themselves, their families and their homes, violent crime plumets.

I was once told by someone who claimed to own an arsenal of assault type weapons, handguns and even an elaborate sword collection that they were needed for home protection. I responded that with the cost of all that, you'd think a safer neighborhood would have been cheaper.

Anyhow .... yeah ... more pics ... of AH players (or their hottie significant femme-others - or what they claim to be).
