Nothing wrong with "cowboy" hats.. I own several and I wear them often. I especially like my Stetson Outback style. Need a stampede string to keep them on when out on windy days. For warm summer days, I have a straw hat. Keeps the sun off and looks good to boot. We don't see many here on eastern Long Island... Too many dorks with baseball caps sideways, backwards or pulled over their ears.. To some, that's supposed to be "cool". To me, it's just bad taste.

, although you dont see many here in VA either, its nice to break it out every now and then, brings a different kind of style from the norm, and for the hat wearing, people get made fun of down here for wearing them in a sideways manner.
