Lets be fair thats hardly a huge gap is it? The problem with men woman friendships is that unless the woman is shockingly brutal the man in the 'friendship' almost always has the secret intention of porking his female 'friend', and that if he hangs around long enough the 2 will become an item.

Woman on the other hand just want to be friends when they say lets be friends.

Well, you may or may not have to lower standards...but Around here if to can talk to a girl for a month go out on a few dates (you paying for everything and driving aswell) and act like you really care you can get 'in' alot.
