Nice guitar.

I showed up at a open Blues jam run by one of my drummers a few Sundays ago.

There must have 8 or 9 other guitarists there, everyone one of them had some type of Fender Strat or Tele.

All of them to a man also carried in a variety of Fender amps.

And soooooo, in walks your old pal Boner carrying his trusty Les Paul and Marshall combo.

Before I even plugged in the amp or even checked my tuning I was approached by at least 2 guys telling me that I'd have to "keep it down".

Once I started playing and the crowd finally started to actually show signs of life, I was asked to turn it up!!

Blues players can be funny that way I guess.

Your picture reminded me of that day, sorry for the hijack.

So you are saying you porked this woman?

I suppose I was too nebulous in the post.

Yes.

Cool thread.  @ Tupac - awesome that you got your tailwheel recurrent! Stick 'n rudder flying - good stuff. Been flying with my dad in his '54 Super Cub since I was about 6 - am very glad I learned to fly in a tailwheel airplane.

Dad met me for my first flight into Atlanta as an airline pilot. I flew over Atlanta on the way back from my private pilot checkride in '02, wondering when, if ever, I'd be landing an airliner there - and somehow there I was! Pretty surreal feeling.

I had that same dream... but never made it due to vision issues.  Congrats on your airline flight and success.  I wish you many more successes in your flying carreer. :aok :rock
