Technology is not cheating and crossbows are awesome 

I have had my Horton crossbow now for 6 year's and love it . I just feel like I'm cheating when I hunt with it .

I have a bowtech compound bow that 70#@29" and I abolutely love it. Nothing like being able to put an arrow through a coin sized target at 30yrds. We are not allowed to hunt with bows here techinaly, but if I did...*cough* ...I prefer the accuracy and quick kill of the technology than a slow lingering death from a misplaced traditional bow shot. Most of the skill that I enjoy is in the stalking and the getting really close undiscovered. Being ten yards from a deer without it knowing has given me more of an adrenalin high than almost anything I have done

I hear ya mechanic . I like my crossbow for it's like shooting a rifle . Just not as far . Last year I shot a rabbit head off at 30 Yard's . Things unreal at shot placement .

Heehee, she says to tell you she's taken.  Been with the same twerp for 2 years now.
Here's some photos she just had done last week.  She gave me her permission to post em. Just remember, she is underage and I am an overprotective dad with automatic weapons & a vehicle.









She's responsible for some of these gray hairs, but she has a real good head on her shoulders AND I'm giving her an H&K MP5 for her 18th birthday.  I want her to have protection whenever she moves into her own place.  She's a shooter too.  All my 4 daughters will be. My 6 & 7 year olds are already shooting my ARs with bipods at 100m away targets.

I have a bowtech patriot, with trophy ridge sights and dropaway rest, when I used to shoot a lot, I could put 6 arrows in a paper plate at 90 yards   they are the best shooting bows out there IMO.

I am going to buy a new one around next deer season ink so I will cut you a good deal on my old Horton when the time comes .
