12ft o water makes for a comfy landing  :D

what is your highest jump? or dive?

I always jumped off every bridge or cliff I could find....... I grew up near a quarry's the high point was 55 feet......never jumped that when young, always stuck with the shorter 35 footer haha hey I was under 12..... :furious... I regret it because when I got there as an adult it was filled in with dirt :furious ...my highest dive and jump is 65 feet :rock

I did that when I was in my 30's.....

65ft is huge..especially for a dive  :rock

I'm 6ft so i estimated that cliff above in the sunset to be about 25-30ft.

The highest I think I've ever jumped was 50-60ft, not sure exactly. It was a long time in the air. I only have a very old photo of this that does not show much but you can sort of see from the texture of the water that it is quite high. That was in 1999 on an island in Greece called Allonisos when I was 17. Great place, I have not not been lucky enough to return there since.

I absolutely love jumping off things into water. One day I plan to get a skydiving licence to take the next step
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

I have a permanently compressed vert in my neck so high dives are a bit intimidating. It' better now that i'm old and have a bit of bulk to break the water up before my head hits but back in my teens it used to really hurt. Any tips?

It's probably worse now that you are old ;)  :D

My advice...start that skydiving :rock   I mean of course utilizing a parachute.

I think you'll have to work on your form for the next Olympics Batty, at least do it properly and put your hands in your pockets on the way down.

hehe new Olympic discipline, Gravity Assisted Flailing

Skydiving is a major ambition, then wingsuiting.

The sun was so good on Saturday that my borther and I drove down at 3am to do some more jumps. This one was about 40ft and previously untested which gave a fresh and exhilarating rush before jumping. Once you know it's definitely safe you never get that same buzz again
