Salute to the best infantry force on the planet U.S. Army Rangers.  Just do me a favor and look out for your mental health.  Way too many have committed suicide.

Been keeping some shrinks in business for a couple of years now. :salute

LMAO yup...just tents went to 81mm mortar school there LOL then Minot, kunsan Korea tdy to Clark ab in Philippines finally Ellsworth....2 SACS and a PACAF..woooohoooo :salute flight lines and missile Silos

I got lucky. No Northern Tier even tho it was height of the Cold War. A long one in Turkey, "when USAF paid for a European travel package cause I was so good at football and hitting a 12" fast pitch". Then it was back home where it was all MAC, except for a 4 year TDY in the S/W convoying. Tho we had Titan-lls at Little Rock I never worked SAC. Might have stayed in but I blew my knee out and had a terrible time, and 3 surgeries, getting it back.

An old/ex airman, a new airman, and a legend.

They got so tired of me dragging them around that field at Lackland AFB, and the Security Police Museum, they were ready to disown me. "Dad do we have to go again"? :lol I just wanted him to realize the past is part of his legacy now. And to never forget the sacrifices of others.

Yeah it made me wish I could do it all over again. I was also amazed by all the changes in USAF. They dont even call the chow Hall the chow hall anymore. :huh . I never saw anyone carded for Beer or cigarettes back then. They figured "old enough to wear the uniform then old enough to drink". On duty we worked hard, off duty we played hard. Most of all if you caught a year at some remote crap hole.

Great collection on that field. I love the Constellation

Found a picture of my old tent at Bullis :lol
