Wow. With the exception of pic 6 they don't look all that British.

The one disadvantage of being a UK reenactor is that they can't get the firearms we have. They have to settle for blank firing replicas, and whatever they can find that comes close to the weapons commonly found on the American frontier. Some of the soldier's hats and uniforms are incorrect too. However, considering where they are, I expect that.

They could buy U.S. made hats and period clothing, boots and accouterments, but the tariffs are very high. This isn't an inexpensive hobby here, much less in Britain. Still, many Brits are fans of western culture and film. Inasmuch as at least 1/2 of those who migrated to the west were of English/Scotch/Irish ancestry, there's lots of connections with the motherland...

Nice Pic Redtail7,

How close to Rte 301 and Waldorf, Md.   A lot of locals here make, a turn around drive across the Potomac, to load up on good priced booze in Maryland, then we sneak back into Virginia for the good priced (well in comparison) gas.

Might have to give ya a holler next time I head out!

If you Brits lived here admit it; you'd be sheep herders, not cowboys.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
