Multiple Moniters.
« on: March 28, 2012, 01:47:05 PM »
Just got a second monitor for free today from a buddy, same size and resolution as my first, but different company. they are both set up without any issue, but the second monitor is darker and has fuzzies around the borders, as opposed to the first which is clean shaven. thoughts?

Hmmmm sounds like he gave you the one that was dying but maybe you can do some tweaking on it to see if that is the problem. Nothing ventured; nothing gained.

I have 3 of the same make and model of monitors one I bought new back in 2004 and 2 I bought on ebay in 2010.  1 of the ones from ebay the colors are off subtly  and cannot adjust it to match. This does not affect gameplay immersion my eyes adjusted to it.

Dont mean to hijack, but in having two monitors, if I pull up a game its going to be split down the bezel in the middle. is there any way to set up the monitors so that the game remains on one screen, but I still have both screens on, or do I need to disconnect the second until I get a third monitor?

Set your screen resolution to the native settings in game, I'm sure that might work.

I used to play ah in one monitor and watch netflix on the other.  best choice is either have 1 monitor or 3.  two can be done but you will always have that big black line in the middle of your gunsight.

that was my concern. I cant afford a subscription right now (Check the Pig forums...), but I do have Steam with some free games I can occupy myself with.
