Trying not to panick I set up again as the squad of 6 friendlies close in.
I say "It's 999000"
One of them says "Whats the aircraft ?"
Me "its 999000 in B29's"
Him "whats 999000 ?"
Me "This guy is the best bomber gunner in the game, be careful, do NOT attack from his 6", as I watch them close in on his 6...
Him (Laughs) "Well he's scared now, theres 6 of us"
Me "Dude, those are B29's and it's 999000, do not attack his 6, attack as a group."
Him (laughs) "But there are 6 of us...."

Boom
Boom
Boom
Boom
Boom
Boom

All dead.......and I just turn my plane and fly away with 2 kills...............


It's not called Pig-Headed Patrol for a reason:

Zoney, Your quite a humble gentlemen and a dang good fighter pilot. Truth be told Zoney got all 3 of my B17's last one cracking up on landing ..I couldn't get the airspeed  or gear down with both elevators shot out. The group of 6 109's did have me wetting myself..it is the right plane for the job and I'm really not as effective in the B29 guns.

Shot down 999000 quite a few times using the technique of climb directly above him 1.5k, then dive straight down, aim for the cockpit or wing, repeat.   :aok    :)

He is very good though, come in any other way.... Well.... :uhoh

once in a 262 I went in on his B17 from low climbing on his 6 (only because he was distracted with another fighter) got 1, yelled to squaddies "ITS 999000!" and we all left those bombers alone after that...  :bolt:

Triple 9ner has been shooting me down for about 20 years. I met him trolling for fighters in his B17 super sized spit in Air Warrior. If you ever see him up in a fighter kill him fast. His first move out of habit is to jump into the fighter's rear gun....hint, hint , hint, wink wink..nudge nudge.....hehhehehehehehehe.. ..

That's cause they stay at around 30K most of the time....

I have 2 kills on 999000 this tour...  It was nothing special really, or exceptionally hard.  

(of course he was 10 feet off the deck in B17's headed to the town to bomb the M3 that was about to let troops out)  :neener:

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
