I'm flying along last night, 20k in a fresh P47N, and lo and behold, what do I find just off my 1 oclock at 15k?

B29's

Theres a squad of 6 guys about 2 min away from me so I call out and give them a heads up and attack.
First pass, meh, too excited not good hits but some and I set up for the second pass.  BOOM, Killed 999000 !
Trying not to panick I set up again as the squad of 6 friendlies close in.
I say "It's 999000"
One of them says "Whats the aircraft ?"
Me "its 999000 in B29's"
Him "whats 999000 ?"
Me "This guy is the best bomber gunner in the game, be careful, do NOT attack from his 6", as I watch them close in on his 6...
Him (Laughs) "Well he's scared now, theres 6 of us"
Me "Dude, those are B29's and it's 999000, do not attack his 6, attack as a group."
Him (laughs) "But there are 6 of us...."

All dead.......and I just turn my plane and fly away with 2 kills...............

he has killed me every single dam time...except once, I saw low bombers coming in to a town...I flew towards it as low as possible dodging trees to get there, I came up from underneath and took one out....999000......I was  ...but kept going and didn't attack the others I knew I would not get lucky again.

I caught him low once in 17's, I dropped in from high 12 and got 1 good cockpit shot from my P47....999000

I knew better than to turn around and try again, ran home like a happy little school girl. Score = 72 to 1

He's a friggin exterminator. Watched him wipe out would-be attackers so many times. Too funny.

While it is possible to beat him, you have to attack him right.  If you make a single mistake while you're in range, he'll clobber you every time.

I always look forward to trying my luck against him.  It makes me a better bomber fighter.

I once made a successful attack on him, scoring a kill on one of this bombers without taking too much damage. I quit while I was ahead and didn't go back for seconds or thirds.

I was in a 262 once, flying roughly 9k into a horde and seen low B-17s, some friendly went to attack him I said "tell me who it is if it kills you".... next thing I see is "BOOM!" - oh its 999000.

My 262 kept on going.
