I do not live in Idaho, but I own (3) 128GB Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2  SSDs

what do ya need?

if you are installing one, you need to follow the guidelines about updating the firmware 1st in IDE mode ( not AHCI mode ), before you format or install your OS....... once the firmware is updated you can go into the BIOS and switch it back to AHCI mode and then install your OS ( Windows 7 I persume you be using???? which will take it over from there automatically )

lot of helpful stuff on the Crucial messageboards/forums community, also

hope this helps

I have a 256 gig one and love it. They are highly rated.
No matter which one you get, make sure you google SSD Tweak guide.  There are several settings that should be changed in your OS.
Also it's a good idea to get a standard drive for things like internet cache, swap file etc.

Wanted first hand experience with this product before purchasing. Are you happy with these? What problems did you encounter?  :salute

Actually didn't encounter any problems.  Like I noted before, make sure you follow the tweak guides for best performance and life of the drive.

Last week I was looking on NewEgg and I thought I saw the 128GB bundled with a helmet and flavored window stickers, if that helps.

I am 100% completely happy with mine, I have not encountered not 1 single problem with any of the 3 I own

I have run the 1st one since last April/May  and the performance has not dropped off not even 1%.......  the other 2 I installed in July/august  of last year, and they both seem to be running just as good as the first one.....

all 3 of mine came with the rev002  firmware....... once I updated the firmware to Rev009  the seq read / seq write  had a tremendous improvement.......

just be sure to follow the directions of updating the firmware correctly ( regardless if you do it before you load your OS  or if you update the firmware after you have installed your OS ................ but yours might have already came from the factory with the latest firmware installed )

hope this helps
