Duck and cover DFW
« on: April 03, 2012, 01:40:54 PM »
reported multipul tornados, high winds, massive amounts of rain and marble to ping pong ball sized hail. All moving slowly through the DFW/north Texas area right now. Keep safe everybody.
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

I think we had another tornado through our neighborhood early yesterday morn. I have a big tree down in my front yard, The county was moving trees that were blocking roads.

I'm watching it develop on radar. I'm sitting in a calm weather pocket here at work, but some of the worst of it seems to be slowly marching towards my home and family.

Here in Coppell.

Looks nasty out.  Starting to get hail now.

Sirens blaring.  Maybe I can get out of work early.  :D

I watched one pass by our office a while ago. Wild! We had all the employees in safe areas waiting. It just missed us.

Had my phone and could have videoed but was in awe.

One clipped the north side of our town about an hour ago. The sirens are going off again this one looks like it will pass just south of Sulphur Springs.

You live in Coppell?

Most of the cars at the Townlake of Coppell apartments got bombed by hand-grenade sized hail. Two out of three of our cars. One was, luckily, at Plano and missed it.

National weather service has given an initial estimate of 12 tornados touching down in the DFW area from no less than 5 "super" storm cells that passed through the area tonight.  Any way you look at it this storm system set records for the area.
