Fun fact, approximately 1/4 of all people born in Mongolia or China are descendant from Genghis Kahn. That's 335,000,000 or 20 million more than the population of the US.

Also, going through my family's personal records, one of my ancestors was personally killed by Robert the Bruce.

Some of my kin folk got stoned with Robert the Plant.

I paid an extra 20 bucks for the more in depth search, and found out that I'm related to Adam of Eden.

Funny never got that far back but my family traces our lineage back on both sides from my dads side we go back to a time when the Normans invaded England in 1066; on my dads side of the family that is enough to know that someone in our family helped William the Conqueror when he invaded. There have been attempts to push back in time farther than that but no one has gone to the Normandy region of France to try and go back farther.

On my mother side of the family they can trace back through James Buchanan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Buchanan) and Peter Stuyvesant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Stuyvesant) and that side can track the family back into early Scottish history on the Buchanan side as well as the Dutch Stuyvesant side as well.

Never said I agreed with the dang yankee or his politics from way back then. On my dads side of the family they fought against that side of the family but then again that was back in the civil war.
