Anyone know of a good stock tracking website? I mean as a whole as well not just once stock at a time.

Also anyone know a good site for buying stocks? Unfortunately me and a friend missed out on the big apple explosion a few months ago.

Personally, I use TDAmeritrade.. but I don't have my lunch money invested and I ain't rich yet.

Honestly, if you have to ask these questions on a BBS dedicated to an online game, you might want to rethink your ideas about trading.  You don't seem to be equipped to do your own research and will likely lose your shirt.

That said, I have used TDAmeritrade with no problems, but I don't do a whole lot of trading.  I'm more of a value investor.  I look for solid companies with a low multiple to buy into and hold for a period of time.

You can also avoid the brokers and get your name put directly on the books of a company when you buy their shares...It makes selling a little difficult, but at least you get tons of proxy voting mail (makes you feel important) and a real check for the dividends. The last check I got from Disney for my one share was 18 cents (postage cost them more). Its just another way to look at it.
This is a test

TDameritrade would be a good option,I have free access to the Canuk version but rarely use it. My wife works for TD up here so I can access her employee account.

Afew years back I did purchase some share through it,bought a few Google shares in 07!

Speaking of Stocks, anyone know of a good Stork tracking page?  I'm going to make sure none ever come near my house!

I tend to agree with this, however if you do fancy yourself as a bit of a Gordon Gekko ...

Google and Yahoo both have decent tools for setting up portfolios and tracking stocks, plus all the news and historical data you'll need, so you can do a dry run for a few months and see how you get on before starting trading with you hard earned.

who you trade with will depend very much on the kind of trading you are doing, their charge structure will determine which one is right for you (as far as I can tell the "tools" they provide are all pretty similar, and generally no better than google or yahoo.)
