Hey where's my kill man!

....so as I'm otw in my lil M3 resupply a base, I see a 109 just shooting up the field at will. The ack kills the guy and i think no more about it. When I finally arrive to my spot on the concrete, I hear a faint plink plink  :uhoh Hold up man what was that? I hop in my gun and I hear plink plink plink! It's 109 dude running around the field plinking the hell out of me  :rofl I draw a bead on him and KABOOM! He's dead.  :t

So now this brings me to my question: if he would of killed me...which is possible.  why shouldn't I be able to get the kill on him? Afterall, he is still active in the fight as he can receive kills if he gets them. I was wondering about that.  :airplane:

Because if you shoot him down and then kill his cute you would get two kills. Doesnt work like that!  :bolt:

During the war, kills were awarded for destroyed aircraft, not necessarily pilots.

Well ok that makes since about the being awarded the 2 kills and all. But anyway I  :salute the poor lowly grunt. I got a good laugh out of that.  :lol


I may not have made it very clear in the OP that the auto ack from the field shot him down and he was walking around with the .45 pistol. It was just one of those strange things that happen to me from time to time and I've never really put much thought into it.
I've been hanging out around the backwater bases tonight trying to get some easy GV and bomber perk points. I'm running into all kind of strange 1 on 1 encounters....must be a full moon tonight.  :noid
