Track IR, looking for someone with Version 5
« on: April 06, 2012, 09:54:50 AM »
I'm in need of some help with TrackIR version 5. I have all the software setup, and have made numerious tweeks, but for the life of me, I can not see behind me.

I can be PM'ed in game, or here. Also if you live in the USA, I have a verizon cell phone.

Anyway thanks

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

HTC is working on the trackIR setup. If you try the test files he has released the 6 view is much improved. How ever while working on it he has run into a few problems. The latest release looks good and may soon be out as a patch.

Try the trirtest4.exe linked here.

I now get the same views with TIR5 that I do with keypad views.

Two days ago I upgraded from an old "TrackIR 3 Pro" with the 6DOF "Vector" add-on to a new TrackIR 5.  I have no issues at all with the view directly to the rear.  In fact, this version 5 unit running their latest driver is much better than my old 3 with the version 4 software.  <shrug>
