Horseback Mounted Cavalry (AI)

Imagine your flying low through the countryside in enemy territory and see a massive dust trail floating upwards.  You change course to investigate.  What do you see? Hundreds of horses carrying one rider apiece charging to your frontlines.

It's a cavalry charge!!!

You know what you have to do.  It's a terrible thing to do.  You have to drop some love from the sky disguised as 500 lb bombs into the midst of the stampeding onslaught.  You line up with your 20mm cannons and strafe the survivors with many low level passes.

When you finally run out of ammo, that's when you go ahead and let your comrades know where the remaining herd is and fly home to land.  You line up for final and come to a graceful stop on the runway.  You click tower out.

In the buffer for text reads "YourID landed 148 equine slaughters in a Typhoon".

It could be used in an Eastern Front scenario as both the Axis and Soviets still were using cavalry up until the war ended.

This is overall worse than the sheep idea, although it is similarly appealing in a wierd sort of way.  Think "frame rate".  MH

If you bail from 30,000ft or higher, there is a 1% chance you'll turn into a bomb.

If you land a vbase or port, there is a 1% chance you'll be swarmed by sheep....and get flipped over.

Dont we already have these? Although to be fair "time trial" better describes all the ponys trying to set the record for fastet flight from a fight.
