The FW-190 "G" series was very popular!  Surprised none speak of it.  It was not just a better "F" series.  It had several variants and thousands were made.  Seems it could hit hard and take hits.  Ample info on Internet on this series.

1352 Fw 190G of all variants were built, it merely was a Fw 190A with reduced armament (just two wingroot 2cm guns), two drop tanks and a bomb. It was called JaBoRei (fighter-bomber with extended range). Production ended in early/mid 1944.
