Perked Boost Spits
« on: April 11, 2012, 12:48:58 PM »
For a little extra OOMPH,  I suggest people with vast reserves of fighter perks be able to buy an uprated engine.

I mean having average Spitfires in AH is just not cricket.  I want to be able to run down 190's  and K4's   please   :pray

Flame on!

Oh wait we have the squirrelly Spit 14 nvm     :bolt:

I'd pay perks to get the old high boost Spit V back.  Almost every reference I check quotes a much higher initial rate of climb for the Spit V than the current AH version.

I'd settle for just the Spitfire Mk XIV getting 150 octane and +21lbs boost to justify being perked at all.

I'd not gripe at all, the Spitfire should be nerfed it's too over modeled. The 109 G2 should out turn a spixteen but it doesn't. I'd shut up while the things still ahead of everything in jabo. BnZers find spits a pain in the arse.

I want a turning upgrade for my P-47 too!!!

Why should the Bf109G-2 out turn a Spitfire Mk XVI?  Do you have supporting primary documentation to back that claim up or are you just spouting empty, useless whines?

I bet you are just whining.  Prove me wrong by showing your supporting data.

Well Bruv, if you have too many perks, you could change your name and wipe them all out.

I'll bet there is someone out there willing to let you have the Midway name.   :D

everyone else wants uber versions of their favourite plane why can't I!

Spit 5 upgrade  +1
Spit 14 upgrade +1

haters gonna hate   :old:

and it's the pilot that makes it do what it does!

Of course in the interests of fair play and to make up for pilots of low moral fibre I do accept the current Flight models.

Spitfire Mk V is needed as it is otherwise we lose any 1941 Spitfire for scenarios.

I kill more wirbles by far with the spit than anything else.  Idk why.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

if that was the case than a spit 16 shouldnt outturn another spit16.  it all comes down to not only skill but stick setup.  and even the unknown things like trakir and sometimes having 3 screens.

everybody forget that while the flying characteristics are the same for everybody the set up itself is not.  some joysticks are more responsive than others and also you never as much as you try being with the same e or advantage as much as you try.  one or the other will always have something that gives him the edge.

while everybody can say by looking at the flying model that this plane should outturn another 100% of the time most forget that the it's not the model that is wrong but the situation that is never the same.
