Best way is to go into your options (clipboard) and find the option to auto film your sorties.  Then you can use the Film Viewer, which downloaded with the game, to watch you flights and judge how you did.

Also, you will receive damage points in your fighter score if you put bullets into an enemy plane while in fighter mode, selectable in the hangar.

wtg man! use the film and film viewer to check out how you did.

and those kills that are registered might be the proxies if you say you didn't shoot before

Nugget you may want to spend a little time with a trainer. There are a few things, like setting up head positions for improved views and using the gunsight training aid, that make life easier in the arenas.

Maybe a summary screen where you could see what plane types you hit and how much damage you did and who flew them?

Well, we do not have that.

thanks!  it felt great.  it's been over 10 years since i played a combat flight sim (was on airwarrior aol, then aw 2, aw 3, ah and warbirds,) and am feeling very, very rusty!  btw, i was really surprised ah was still around when i found it last week!  not sure if i really want to get into this game because i wasted sooooo much time back in the day on aw.

here's how how addicted we were back then:  during a flight, a squadie said he was logging because his wife's having their child.  a few hours later, most of us were still online, he comes back and said they have a new baby, and began flying again!  ouch!

I refused my wife's wish for having a baby, because it would severly cut my AH time - simply unacceptable!  :bolt:

Maybe a summary screen where you could see what plane types you hit and how much damage you did and who flew them?   yes we do--under sore and stastic's on home page--go to static's--then pilot-type in your handle--pick the arena you flew in--and there you go..click black line under plane or kills to read any and all info.

Well, we do not have that.

you will know when you did good in a flight.  as it is not something that can be coded into the game.

these are good signs of a good fight.

-you are out of breath, you saw your pilots pulling so many g's you forgot to breath yourself.
-your gf scares the crap out of you when she walks into the room and touches you to get your attention
-you feel the urge to go pee really bad and when you go you hands shake a little trying to open your fly and you must hold on to the wall
-the cold beer that you just opened is now warm
-you all of a sudden realize that it's only a game and you were never really in any danger.

but the best advise i can give you is never wear white underwear.  brown is the preferred color by most player's in aces high that like to get in the middle of it.

I know I am full immersed when during a high angle high speed merge, If I think I may have gotten it wrong and a collision is imminent, I find myself closing my eyes and flinching.  And then ya just open one to see if its all right.
