Squadron of Burried Spitfires

Here's an interesting story.
Apparently there are 20 late model Spits that were preserved and burried in 1945. They have Griffin Motors that were capable of speeds of 440mph!!
I think Aces high should model these.
Did the Mustang ever get the Griffin motor?

We have a Spit 14 which is what these are.
