"Messerschmitts over Norway"

There is no JG5 109 Freidrich skin :(

Should any skinner find the time to make one, I'll be your bestest best friend for life.  :D

Gelbe 7 is especially sexy;

Quote
The above shown plane is a Bf-109 F-4/Trop which was flown by Hauptmann Horst Carganico after his belly landing over enemy territory on August 12, 1942.

The plane actually was a spare unit which Horst Carganico used during the winter of 1942 to 1943. The Mickey Mouse emblem now showed two shoe pulled on their tying band, representing the two force landings on 22ed July and 12th August 1942, where Horst Carganico had to "walk on his shoes" back from enemy territory

I'll give this one a go. I'm going to try to find some real pics first.

So far I have only found a very nice artist profile of this aircraft with the winter whitewash.

Note the unusual use of an early 109 canopy. This detail seems to indicate that there is some good photo referance somewhere. I'll start working on this skin very soon.

Found some JG5 Emils. Should the Emil get a 3D model upgrade I may look into skinning rather than filming  :D

And mugs!

Yeah the Emil is in dire need of a new 3D model. I might still do some skins anyway.

Is putting a E cockpit on a F or G model even possible? I have never seen anything like that.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Has to be said, it looks like a pretty nifty field mod.

This canopy change occurred during the switch from E-3 to E-4 and remained the same through the life of the F series. This makes the it very easy to change the canopy as the mountings are the same. The canopy was changed again with the introduction of the Gustav. That change eliminated the lower corner glass from the front portion and the armored glass was moved inside the canopy using thicker frames. Also, the center section was changed eliminating the sliding side panels, and a thicker frame between all panes of glass.

It was Horst's personal preference and he had it put on his 109F
