FRAME 3 OUT OF THE SUN Overview
« on: April 21, 2012, 07:48:16 AM »
What a night! I can't remember an event that had fewer pilot registration issues than these last frames. The players and COs are to be commended. As we incorporate new, revitalized squads, and new squad members into FSO we still have a duty to educate the new blood about the rules. Improved recruiting opportunity will exist shortly with summer fast approaching. Good luck with your squad recruiting efforts, and Please keep an eye out for FSO squad members. Back to Frame 3-We had several discos that got back in the air very quickly. I personally observed many great battles that were fun to watch (and learn some rather unorthodox tactics from). It appeared that both sides had a fun time of it. Country chat reflected intensity and mission focus. Someone mentioned that a CiC died just after Fields Closed??? Must have been a coincidence. I don't believe we had any penalties for in flight at end of frame either. My Hat is off to plissken, Warloc, & Crazy8s for all the support they offered. Always a pleasure you guys! Even found the "Guru of Stealth" himself flying in our event. (You know who you are)!!! Rumor has it he died a horrible death?? That about covers Frame 3! Post up some good screnes if you can! Thanks for enjoying FSO with us!

good job to all the CIC's and staff. while it seemed to be sided against the allies, it was a fun setup. we appreciate all the hard work everyone puts into it.
not only squads but people too. we've had some great fights and some great fun with this setup.

on a side note, JG54 will be upping our commitment to the next level as our squad grows, soon to be the next terror of the cartoon skies!

That was me.  I actually typed," CIC dies and Fields Closed.  Very interesting."  Figured a new rule was in effect. Kill the Boss and no one can re-up a plane!!!!

Or, just a specific rule when Nef is CIC. :devil

No, I discoed shortly before fields were closed. On my way to catch up with my squad I ran into some 202s and I ended up eating some trees. That may have been wha you heard.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

That was me and FLAK.  We had to rearm because FLAK's trigger was drunk (spilled alcohol on it) and he ended up running out of ammo about 10 mins into the flight.  This whole thing was nothing short of a BLAST!

And a good time was had by all.. Except for those of us that died early and beat our joystick to death on the front pouch!  FSO takes to to the heights... only to realize it's a really long fall from there!

The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.
