For those of you who still play WoT

I picked the game up again after the T34 US heavy became free premium. Otherwise I would not have been able to afford the high tier tanks.

Currently I have:

M18 Hellcat
M40/43 SPG
M103
T34
Leopard
AMX 12T

I've hit a stop in my US line...

I once wanted to get to the T30 TD or the T95 but then I realized... why? My M40/43 using AP rounds is insanely more effective as a 'TD' due to its map-long reach and AP round does three times the damage the T30 and T95 shots do. Plus I get HE rounds with big blast radius when I can't pen things. Win-Win.

I care less about heavy tanks so getting the T110 is not a priority. I'll probably play the m103 once a night for the 2x until that gets me the T110 researched & then ill sell the 103. By then I may need the money for the T92  SPG

The french line im trying to get up to batchat.. I'm really impressed with the stuff that tank pulls and as an SPG I get to see it top/down all the time. Powerful little tincan.

The T110 isn't really a "Heavy". It's more of a large medium. It's got GREAT frontal armor, AMAZING gun (penetration), and some good speed.

I was really suffering until i got the 88, now I can actually kill a KV in 2 shots. I have the 2nd engine from the most powerful and all the radio's. I sold all the old stuff for extra cash though  Sadly still have 1,000,600 to go for the tiger

Did you sell everything out of your depot as well?

yeah, that lasted half an afternoon

Is getting the final engine upgrade for it worth it? I was saving all my credits for the tiger

With the germans, most of the engines you get you can use on 40% of the other tanks. I always get the bigger engines on the tier 6+ tanks etc.  88 L/71 is one of the best guns in the game.

upgrade all the engines you can on the e-100 line, Tiger I and II, and e-75 really shine once you mount the final engines (bonus if you're going down the e-50 line later on is having that 1200 HP baby already researched, just got my 50 yesterday and wow what a beast!)

Yes I did, I spent a lot of my cash on the M7 Priest, I enjoy switching out between matches of if I get killed early, plus I just love being the only spg to be on the front lines, Get some pretty good action in that and comes in handy when we need to push. Also like to go tank destroyer with it sometimes hehe my aim is amazing

Then i'll go ahead and buy it then, speed could save my life, it could have numerous times before..


Edit: here's a question, with IS-3 and KV-5's I find I can't do anything with AP rounds, HE is the only round that does much if any damage. Which shell is more vital to have in a high tier battle? HE or AP?

Well its free, so thats where it gets me, I still can't afford aces high until I get a credit card to pay for it

Isn't great for Clan Wars though. Lots of people use them in it...easy meat.

I have a clan called pigs on the tank.  we take most members as long as you have fun.  most of our guys are somewhere in the tier 5 and 6.   having a bt2 and willing to have a couple of runs in it is a must.  as we have the most fun in the bt2.
