Ah because the one at the Expo center ended today, it has a pretty good selection of everything and I go there occasionally.

Very nice.  Trace the SN and find out the actual date of manufacture.  FYI: that is more of an investment and conversation piece than it is a shooter.  Dont get me wrong, it probably can shoot just fine but if you want a shooter then go buy a Rock Island 1911A1.  They are less than $400, and what you have is worth far more than that.

I have one of those myself.........1943 Rem Rand Mfg.......Stamped US Property    IT was my dads, he was on the US Army Pistol Team way back when

Correct.  It's a reproduction though, not an original.  Fun to shoot though, and more accurate then you would expect from a smooth bore shooting round balls.

nice collection! im going to another gunshow this coming weekend, gonna keep my eye out for a m1 Carbine or Garand lol
