Its to keep people from poping over to spy on their radar, then go right back to their own side to setup an ambush.

It also keeps "certain players" (and you know who I'm talking about) from switching teams to force a reset.

I can understand 1hour maybe even 5 but not 10 hours man thats lame.

I can understand where TT is coming from.  The numbers, especially in the Asia/Pacific timezone, are quite low and if you switch sides to balance play, you're ok for a while but then as people log on and off the balance is outa whack again and you can't switch back...

People have their loyalties, but I think the time limit must also play a part in their decision to switch sides for balanced play.  I can understand the reason why it's turned on also and I agree...I merely point out the other side of the coin (or world in this case).
