What is a cycle composed of?   One test?  The dozen or so tests before it switches test types?

Two test types or about 30-40 minutes of testing (several tests per cycle).

I downloaded coretemp and will just monitor the temp with that. It seems very stable so far but I haven't tasked it much yet.

Allright, with Prime95 the highest temp it ever reached was 57c before I got tired of watching it.
After that it idled at 36c. I'm OK with that.

Sounds good.  Those are about the same temps my OC has been running for years now.
