Ontario has the highest taxes - I believe its 15% ? Either way Quebec is not that much higher than any other province, BC is 14% I believe.

HA we have 20% taxe .. but of course everything is older, wiser and much more expensive in europe

The maritimes "HST" (Harmonized sales tax... they called it Blended Sales Tax at first... but BST didn't go over so well. <G> )  It's a single rate of 15%

Before that we had 17.8% sales tax. Blech.
