I have a 360 - but i'm not 1000% invested in the controller.

Does one exist?

No. The newest consoles I can get working stable on my computer are Gamecube (And Wii since its almost exactly like GCN except with new controller) and PS2. Even then, a lot of bugs to deal with and fiddling around to stabilize. PS3 and and Xbox 360 are far to powerful to emulate on current computers.
