Ignoring the usual perk the XVI, hordes, new planes etc etc.

What has changed since 2007?
Thinking more along the lines of the strategy side of things.
Don't know exactly what to put out there but the old hands know how I used to play the game.

Also what are the numbers like Oz prime time (East coast). A quick check of the time difference puts East coast USA prime time about 9-->10am here, so possibly only on Saturday mornings here.

Just have to get it past the wife ack :-)

Very little on the strategy front. Most base captures are done by mindless hordes. Strata depots are clumped together and are mostly ineffective. Their are no more "leaders" that can make a real plan and players with enough skill to care it out well with out having more than 40 people to carry it off.

  #s about 300-400 or so in MA around 9:00 pm EDT. You should notice a different Town layout, Vehicle bases, and added the Storch for finding GV's as thier icon range is less. WW1 arena is fun when you find a few in there.

Ignoring the usual perk the XVI,

Hardly happens anymore, not at least becasue there are much less Spit XVI's  (and spits in general) around, the P-51D has become the dominating plane of LW.
Strategy is basically nonexistant beyond "need X bases to win the war", zones and zone bases are gone too.
LW arena has gone back to single format.

Kev, not much in a positive way.  The de rigeur of captures is now to bust all the hangars while busting the town.  A far cry from, vh, deack, cap, and capture.  I keep playing because of the friends I've made.  It's nice to catch up with them, and laugh. 

Whether it be air or ground, "fast and furious" sums up what I see as I fly past to pork or bomb something.

Oh, busting hangars things also can have a 30 plane noe component to it also.  Not my cup of tea.
