FIXED :)

Hell was never an issue when you had others with in you D2.  Played it smart, and it was actually quite fun and surprisingly easy.  IF the hype they have been giving about Inferno is true, then the fixed statement may very well be true. :noid  However, until we get there, we won't know. :aok

Wow I find it hard to believe it has been almost 38 days since our last path. We should have release another 38 versions by now  :bhead

It's what people said about diablo 2 also, yet I had a 97 pally and a 94 cold sorc out of a level cap of 99 that solo'd hell with ease. I'm not so sure about Inferno this time around though.

You far out leveled the content in Diablo 2 then as the content capped at something like level 70.  You could also level in Diablo 2 by grinding lower level content.  Even at level 98 killing a zombie or fallen just outside the Rogue camp on Normal would give you an experience point.

In Diablo 3 the Inferno difficulty is set to be just over level 60, the highest you can get.   This prevents out leveling the content.  Also killing things more than 5 levels below you yields no experience, making it impossible to massively out level the content.

So I played through to the skeleton king with my trial account. I first made a wizard, and found it slow and difficult (still have not beaten the skeleton king with him) so I made a barbarian and made it to/killed the skeleton king within an hour and a half. I found the barbarian much more enjoyable for a diablo noob like myself. I didn't have to worry about kiting groups of NPCs, I just busted in there and kicked posterior. I don't think I'll end up buying the full version - cool game though.

my only wish is the game was a little bigger, its far to easy to fly through each act and complete it, now saying this I can see why there is 4 types of game modes, Softcore to Inferno.

I'm in Act 3 on hardcore and enjoyed surviving belial with 3% health (majorly screwed up on my part).

The kicker, I didn't even notice your HP bar drop that low. :(  I was honestly expecting to have more than a couple close calls, seeing as my resistances are still in the single digits. :noid  But I didn't have to use a pot during that fight.  He was being generous with the globes. :)  My life steal REALLY helped, and when you tagged him with mark and I dropped Earthquake, his HP melted. :devil

How does Diablo keep people's interest after beating the game? Is there anything to do after you make it through all of the different acts and difficulties?

There is suppose to be PVP and more Acts coming out, for now just trying to survive Hardcore is enough to keep one interested, I imagine it being like Warcraft with a dozen expansions and BS.
