Photos taken by Aufklärungsgruppe 122 of the initial attack (frame 1) on Tangmere aerodrome (A21, sector 8-11-5) have finally been developed...

Nearly all the bombs dropped fell on the town instead of the base.  The Luftwaffe regrets this mistaken attack on a civilian target.  The offending bomber crews will be reassigned to the infantry, where they will shortly find themselves in a colder, flatter, more Eastern locale.  ;)

Actually, in Frame 2 you guys did a *little* bit better than that: one barracks and TWO guns!     ;)

Between the AKs and JG54 you folks took down almost half the points at the small airbase A7.  (AKPepprr, AKRaider, and AKMeatHd each nailed a hangar.)

yeah that manual bombsight calibration is rough. but I think between the good done by plowing those farmer's fields in frame 2 and the bad done by bombing a town in frame 1 it should all balance out in the end right?  :D
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.
