Of course.  Most German aircraft lack something when you see them in reality.  No piston fighter I've ever seen comes close to the Spit XIV in terms of aggressive look.  The long Griffon and nose cone, five bladed prop and cannons protruding from the wings gives it a very aggressive look.

The Bf109 just looks kinda small and awkward in person.  The Fw190As have a nice aggressive look in photos, but I've not seen one in reality.  Bf110s look like a product of the mid-1930s, kind of like a Skua or Stuka.  The Me410 and He219 have an insectoid look to them.

IDK, US fighters definately look more agressive compared to their british counterparts. Spitfire really just looks a bit plain IMO. There is such a thing as too sleek in terms of looks.

Yes, I do think that would sum up the girl at the dance quite nicely. You might be quickly drawn to her curves, but you'll leave her just as fast when you see theres nothing behind them.

Haven't spent much time with the Spitfire, have you?  Nothing behind it?  Maybe too much, but certainly not nothing.

Idk 109s are just to bulky and squared, 190s are too tall and look gangly, 110s well its a 110...

Spitfires yes are very streamlined which I think looks nicer then the 109.
