While the He111 would be a good addition, it had been a long time since a fighter had been added so in this vote all of the aircraft were non-American fighters, including the Ki-43, which is just as needed as the He111.  Now, as it was a vote among the players, what was chosen was not up to HTC.

There's threads dated 1999, I believe, asking for the 410. It's been "needed" from the start. Same with just about any plane request -- G.55, Beau, 410, He111, many of them have been discussed since the game began.

Yep, over the years I tend to facepalm after I see we get B-29s instead of He-111s or P-47M's over Ki-43s etc.

I keep wishing and hoping one day someone takes notice, I did want the Me-410 in the game as my first wish, so I guess after all these years it paid off.
/still begging for drop tanks on a C.205 and G55 added (I can see the G.55 before drop tanks) but I can still wish

In fairness, the P-47M was a "freebie" graphically as it has the exact same geometry as the P-47D-40 whereas the Ki-43 would be entirely new artwork.

Unfortunately I feel as long as the player base gets to vote for things we want, we will continue to go without things we need.

In the time that the player base has voted for things, the three winners being the B-25 (which we did need), B-29 and Me410, HTC has also added the Brewster B239, I-16, G4M1, Mosquito Mk XVI, A6M3, P-39D and Q, P-40 F and N, P-47M, SdKfz 251, Panther V G, Panzer IV D/F, Tiger II, M4A3(75), M4A3(76), M18 and M3 w/75mm cannon.  I probably forgot things too.  We do get things that are needed as well as things that are good for the LWMA.

Even the Me410 is going to be used in the next big scenario.

I'd agree with that, but technically it didn't win.  If I recall the vote went something like 50.2% for the B-25 and 49.8% for the P-39.  We needed the P-39 as a gap filler too though, so it works.

Actually had a dream about checking for it and something showing up on the front page last night, but it was a V1, including a video showing a Spitfire Mk XIV tipping it.

You're absolutely right Karnak... People tend to focus in what hasn't got and forget what received... I fell to that mistake, too. My apologies to HTC for that. Thank you, Karnak, for reminding it to me.
